FWIW: The P5; 10; 20 can at least handle that voltage difference, whereas the PPP simply couldn’t. In this respect the latest regenerators are a huge improvement! I am also in a 230V country (SA) though here our voltage is more likely to be around 225.
As far as I know, the effect is the same with cut or boost. For example, if my regular voltage in was between 210 and 220, I probably would’ve set my P20 at 220 instead of 230. Fortunately I can keep it on 230V as it’s being fed 24/7 from a Victron Inverter / Lithium setup.
