I’ve recently bought a used Premier SC power cable and I’m curious is it a fake or not. All the similar topics I’ve found here are about more modern models like AC-12.
Tactilely the cable is felt heavy and very rigid. The original US power plug is cut off and replaced with some Schuko one, so I can also see how the cable is built inside. Maybe, with help of these photos below, you can figure out is it actually a PS Audio cable?
I’ve also auditioned it before buying, and in my system it showed (being connected to my Copland hybrid integrated amp) very good resolution and clarity, with deep and well controlled bass and nice 3D-like imaging; maybe not as warm, airy and live-like as the AN Isis I used on this amp before. I’ve never auditioned a 100%-legit PS Audio cable thou, but at least this one outperformed all of my 200-300-dollars-for-used power cables like Zu Mother or AZ Tsunami.
