Problem with coax connection

And all other source including i2s and usb are working fine.

In general Sunlight works better with worse S/PDIF signals than earlier releases. I suppose it’s possible that if nothing else changed, a particular cable might no longer work. Do you have another RCA cable that you could try? (Just as an experiment, it doesn’t have to be a great cable.)

It’s still more likely that something else changed during the update, perhaps the RCA cable got loosened?

Changed the cable and same. No response. Can you please tell me how to factory reset the device??

There’s a force load boot rescue disk set of software you can load. After loading that you can then install which ever version of software you wish.

It’s installed just like any other software update.

Hi,
I have reset it and install sunlight again. Coaxial port is Dead. I have tried two different cable and source. What to do now? Can you remote diagnosis this? I can give you a public IP address.

Thanks

@Paul and @tedsmith as I am trying to connect my CD player (not SACD) I’d go for TosLink. But I’d be very glad if you can fix my Coax. I love Coax.

You need to talk to PS Audio support, as I said it’s not likely to be related to software.

I am from #Bangladesh. I don’t think it is a good idea.

The issue is most likely something else that changed when you did the install. I can’t guess what that might have been. There’s a remote possibility that the hardware broke, but the coax is just a simple connection to the FPGA, not much more than a connector, resistor and a capacitor. If you have another DAC on hand that might rule out the source and the cable. If you bought the DS from a dealer they might be able to help.

Okay. Will ask my dealer.

It;'s the input board. The same thing happened to me and others with the same problem before. Order a replacement board from PS Audio, change it and you will be fine.

Can you please give me an URL to order the board? @Paul

Your first point of contact should be the dealer who sold you the component. If they’re unable to support you, then you may contact PS Audio here:
