I never like the coffee flavor itself. Not even in ice cream. But the addiction to caffeine is certainly there. 7am out here on the East Coast sipping down my Monster Ultra Zero Black, and by the time working that will be a Diet Mt. Dew.
I’m much the same way. I’ve never even liked the smell (which my dad always said was the best thing about coffee).
When I was about 4, my grandmother gave me a taste of coffee, and I thought it was the most awful thing I’d ever had in my mouth, and I’ve never touched it since. Friends and family said I’d never get through the all-nighters of architecture school without learning to drink it, but I did somehow. Iced tea for me, every day (except the occasional cold weekend morning, when I take it hot).
Love coffee! Dad gave me coffee and cake for my first birthday. Hated the cake, but loved the coffee. I’ve had coffee every morning since I was one (had a ceramic sippy cup just for morning coffee!).
Yes, grew up in Sweden, so the coffee culture is VERY different than here in the US…
here’s a thread with lots of speculation about what the AirLens might look like
I would listen to Beth Hart watching paint dry.
Love that song, but hate coffee, yuck
Coffee, what has coffee have to do with the video?
What did I miss while being seduced by Ms. Hart?
@michael_lichnovsky ahh the failed starbucks model always makes me smile its like the whole city decided that its just not acceptable …
just down the road from you in Geelong…
While I don’t celebrate the fact that when a Starbuck’s closes there are employees impacted, I do celebrate one less place selling horrid “coffee”.
Here in Portland we have a myriad of coffee roasters. Including a fellow who does open fire roasting and delivers the beans via bicycle year round.
I wonder if the recent (and successful - yay!) push for unionisation in s’bucks will improve the coffee?
That’s a good question. From what little I read, the unionization started with having more say on employee schedules. But, I don’t foresee finding out for myself if the coffee get better.
No way. If anything, the coffee will go downhill.
That’s just brilliant. I hope he has a good hifi system.
Hi @Paul. Now just in case you might need any beta testers for the 240v Air Lens… Would love to help you out!
And not only that, 240V AND the Southern Hemisphere. I’m right here to ensure the product functions as advertised when I flush my toilet and the water spins the “wrong way”.
Maybe Paul didn’t have coffee yet this morning and Dreamt last night the Airlens was selling like hotcakes on the website😁
Nice to hear. This must be an official leak from Paul! So full of confidence that the beta program can be skipped? Just too curious when that Airlens web page comes alive (rather sooner than later)!
