There is no desktop app for PSConnect. TJ is referring to the 5 bar hamburger menu on the PSConnect app on the left then streaming to select rate it will play. Make sure it is set to highest.

Hopefully someone is gathering all this info for inclusion in the owners manual so future purchasers don’t have to haunt the forum to learn how to use their hardware and software:-) Now how do I access search in Qobuz under the PSConnect app and how do I likewise access my favorites and playlists saved to Qobuz?

Scratch that last inquiry, now that I have examined that dialog box a bit more I see all those options are there. My confusion is caused by the fact that this interface is constructed differently that the others I am familiar with for Qobuz. Also you might want to be aware that setting the streaming rate on one device (ie. phone) does not change it on other control devices (ie. ipad) even though they are controlling the same piece of hardware (ie. the strata). It doesn’t help things that warning messages pop up saying that making these changes will increase your data streaming and may cause usage charges to occur. Such a message makes one think you are changing a setting that involves native streaming by the phone or ipad, but in fact the streaming in question is direct to the Strata and thus not going to affect mobil data consumption. Right?
Yes, the app should just be a controller in this sense. A lot of different devices have this pop up when increasing data streaming. That “data rates may apply” message we’re used to seeing. For most, streaming over the network won’t matter, but some folk’s internet may have different agreements and data caps.
You are correct, It does after your set your max streaming rate to hi-res, which I learned later but not when you are at cd quality streaming.
Interesting that you prefer the SOTM, I also have found the bridge to be inferior to an Auralic Aries as a source. Surprising, in a way, since it has the advantages of no interconnects and, presumably, a low jitter environment, I wonder if this could improve with time.

Thanks for your help…makin’ progress!
A couple of times now I have left the Strata streaming either tunein radio or Qobuz and returned to fine it has locked up, meaning that none of the front buttons or volume knob worked and the PSAudio button was blinking. The only remedy is to power down using the rear power switch. When locked the music continues playing and can be paused and restarted using the app but the volume cannot be changed either by the app or from the control knob. Has anyone else observed this phenomena?
PS- Also when trying to stream audio from my Auralic Aries though the USB port, DSD 64 or 128 files indicate they are playing on the Auralic app, but no sound comes out of the Strata. Hi-res PCM files work fine.
Using IOS 14.0.1 and PS connect is not verifying the PS connect app so it does not work Anyone seen that and found a fix. Thanks

Same for me, I sent and email to the support teams, I still waiting for an answer.
I uninstalled the PS Connect App to try to reinstall. Now it will not let me me install. Must be Apple blocking stuff
I tried the same thing and me too the app doesn’t want to install anymore. I hope they will fix it really soon
Same here! All my Apple devices No longer open the PS Connect app. I think they need to make it official somehow with the App Store so you can download it directly from them.

Try the iEAST play app. Will probably work.
Sorry about all that. We’re working on the problem and I’ve let engineering know.
We are on it. Hopefully we can have an answer on Monday. You should be able to uninstall and reinstall using the same process you loaded the app in the first place.
