Hi to All, after two days of intense listening, today the system woke up like a new beast. Everything is in place, sound is great, super clear, plenty of more blacks, great soundstage and midrange us back without any coloring, more detail than ever. Can’t explain other than it settled in.
Thank you all once again for all your good advice and definitively the Niagra is the one leaving.

hello fellow audio folks. on the p15 subject. has anyone ever had there p15 shut down and turn that angry color on the front screen. shutting off all components. happened to me for the for first time. have had in system with bhk250 amp for over a year driving acoustic zen crescendo speakers. was playing loud, but not louder than i have in past. causes? heat? outside power surge? or just too much current demand? scared the hell out of me.
was playing dire straights SACD. clearly some big sound and transients. not what i typically listen to.
just had new input board placed in 250 amp.
powered everything off. back on again in about 5 minutes. has played fine since as far as i can tell. just looking for some wisdom.
That has happened to me only when there was an outside electrical occurrane, a neighborhood “Brownout” while I was listening to the system. Showed only about 59 incoming volts. Turned it off, unplugged my computers and P10 and PPP and even my well water pump. Brownout lasted about 90 minutes. When all power was restored the P15 came back on properly and has worked fine ever since.

@freddygoldszmidt Great to hear! I always find it interesting how high the delta can be between our first impression of new gear vs our impression after it has settled in a few days.
@cjbreeze This makes me think something happened upstream from the P15. Depending what all you have plugged into it, the BHK 250 plus some source components would have a hard time sending that guy into protection mode.
plugged into the BHK are a ps audio transport…directstream dac, BHK 250, and a prima luna dialogue preamp. so guess it was incoming power? hopefully wont experience that again!
