It’d still be nice to have release notes for all software updates for PS Audio gear, so we all know what’s fixed, different, and improved, and so we know what to get excited about and what’s still pending.

Today, someone posted in the PMG 512 DAC first impressions topic that there is another new Streamer firmware (d2261a). Can someone from PS Audio please write a description of what these last two firmware updates have fixed?
We really need a forum topic that is solely for firmware release announcements, preferably with descriptions.
good idea. for 1 the media player seems to be changed to UpMPD.
