True, I was “advised” to connect the 1.25KW directly to the wall socket if I intend to listen to the system at high volumes. I currently use it (the P20) to power the DSDMK2 and the MEN220. It is a system that is not yet finished, I will have to add a central channel (choice between a Magico A5 or a PSAudio FR30, unfortunately, the PL500s were only sold as a pair) and a Parasound Halo JC1+ to drive it.
