Reterminate AC 12 Power Cord

Has anyone successfully removed the male end of an AC 12 Power Cord? I want to reterm mine to a 90 degree connector. I removed the black PSA rubber cover from both sides of the connector and I see what appears to be two small black pegs but no screws.

I believe AudioQuest makes them as well. They have one where the cable plugs in from the bottom vs the side.
