I haven’t heard about Cryrotone but they sound like they might be worth checking out.

I’ve used Cryotone. They are basically cryo’d JJ tubes. They sound pretty good, but I went back to my favorite NOS and are much happier.

Similar experience as well. Thought they were ok, but preferred NOS.

I’m sticking with the Apps tubes for my BHK pre. Reasonably priced and they sound amazing.
Been listening to the Gold Lions in the BHK pre until my replacement Apos showed up. Just popped them in and right off the bat before they even warmed up, they are sounding better than the GL. Glad to have them back in the pre.
