@badbeef - looks like you hit the Upscale room…
Along with more women than I’m used to seeing, quite a few families. As in mom, Dad and toddler(s) or babies in carriages. I saw someone posing his baby in a stroller with one of Paul’s “Audiophile” hats. Lots of 30-something enthusiasts of all stripes. The guys half our age behind us in line (from Kansas) were into SET stuff. This was all very encouraging.
“I Stand Corrected” V1 - I recently said I’d never heard B&W’s sound great. This Full-On Simaudio stack running 800 D3’s was Nice. Or as a friend of mine used to pronounce it for emphasis, “Noooiiiice”:
Encouraging, indeed
Another cool rig from TMR - a Rega TT, Harbeth 40.2’s, Mac amps, some crazy old Western Electric-type pre from Line Magnetics…Luxman, couple little RELs in the corners… Just a Fab Eclectic Rig.
Deliciously over the top!
Only one sub each channel??!!
But wait, there’s More - the Super-Uber, Coming This Fall, Chronosonic XVX (yours for a mere $235 Kilodollars):

To round off the Wilson-O-Rama, here’s a shot I stole from fellow Boulderite Danm. This was from Friday, during the Darren and Mikey Show. Ever the Gentleman (koff, koff) Leebs asked if someone would give up their seat for a Lady. The guy in the front row center sat on the floor for…(no guesses)…Sheryl Wilson! (The blonde on the right)
On the left side: Leebs, Paul, Mikey, Darren.
I love The Music Room…good people with good deals.
There seemed to be a lot of awesome cast aluminum stuff on display or being touted. Check out the compartmentalization of the $20k Ayre KX-R Preamp (shown way back above in the room with the Aurender and Dali speakers. Snap from the brochure, as they didn’t have one sitting around opened up:
Not even sure what this above bit is from, but it was the hugest chunk of aluminum I saw on display. Chances are it was from something in this rully, rully nice rig - both pretty and good-sounding:
Guessing it’s Boulder internal heatsink or something. Should’ve asked someone.
Here’s the list on the above:
BTW: These end/corner suites with massive “living room” with bar area (sadly unstocked), big area off to the side, then additional rooms beyond, had such a great vibe compared to the congested typical room. But that’s just me going, "Why don’t you guys go broke making me happy at shows?"
These sounded amazing with that setup
