Preamp/DAC/PhonoPreamp with HDCD, DSD etc, streaming audio connectivity eg internet and various other digital sources and room correction features
my guess = a device attaching which could attach to the digital output of the PS Audio Perfect Wave DAC and is a buffer with the digital lens along with DAC and built in preamplifier for output stage. Hmm it might have EQ capability or not.
of course it can connect to any digital DAC output and support DSD
No that cant be right its not time for a new DAC is it
Very interesting cant wait to learn what it is

Hi,
Isn’t all supposed to be revealed today?

WINNER!!!
This is indeed the big secret, and you nailed it. You know, the audio quality is one thing, but the inscriptions are heartwarming. I especially liked the audiophile greeting card with the unicorn for Valentines Day (2015):
COVER:
“Roses are red,
Violets are blue… actually, this is incorrect. They are called violets because they are often violet colored. This is one of the higher frequencies that we can see and distinctly not blue. I say frequency because it is a convenient way to describe the behavior of light when discussing color, which is itself a wholly subjective phenomenon related to how we interpret this aspect of the physical world. Lets call it psycho-optics. This is just MHO which I have cultivated after many years of critical observation. I’m not saying that I have Golden Eyes, it’s just that there are many out there who cannot tell the difference between blue and violet and I think that people just don’t care these days. They just want to flip through the little color swatches that they get at the paint store and not be bothered by spending quality time sorting the Munsell 100 hue test in the optimal lighting position. They’ll just never know the transformative experience that there is to be had with great colors in a great light. But I digress.”
INSIDE:
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
No, I won’t lend my cherished, unopened copy of The Beatles, Please Please Me
To you.
(PS, I Love You)
:x
@Steven:
“Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
For the next two weeks,
You’ll have to find something else to do!” >:)
@timequest I am really hooked on a Colorado Micro brewer named Odells. See if they might have expanded into your area.
Of course you’re all welcome to come visit.
@wglenn
Will, you better stop meditating. It’s making you strange. =))
You’re just figuring this out? :))
@alekz Is there a way to make a stinky nose cartoon? ^#(^ Probably not. I have heard these Meridian loudspeakers with their built in digital amplifiers, their DSP systems quite a lot at shows and dealers and never once thought anything other than "ugh" they are bright and flat sounding.
Is that just me?
I don't agree but that is what makes audio so interesting. Everyone hears differently. I have a pair of the DSP5200 connected to a Meridian 808.2i and have not noticed what you comment on. I run vinyl through it as well and it still enjoy it. They are powered by PS Audio powercords plug into a PS Audio Power Plant Premier so maybe it was just the power conditioning causing the sonic problem. :)

I wonder if it's going to be another revelation for Paul. Just like positive effects of pre-amplifiers :D

Odell beer has been in the Twin Cities since 2010. It probably has quite broad national distribution by now.
Does the new product contain discrete regulator power supply design similar to the never connected power supply from trichord research ?
Leaked photo of the new mystery component! Not clear if it supports DSD, but it definitely does 8-track!
