Short Circuit error message - Power plant 15

Hello! Has anyone else experienced this error when turning on the device? In half of the cases, when I turn on the devices connected to P15 in a chain, the device is disabled. It is important to know that my amplifiers are chained and they are turned on each other with a TRIGGER cable, from standby mode. Sometimes this requires too much starting current? There is definitely no short circuit in the system, something else may be in the background. Can anyone help? Even if they turn on with the delayed start, they only go into standby mode. When I actually turn them on in a chain, this message sometimes appears.

Thanks, Peter.

Welcome

What happens if you unplug everything from the P15, and then turn the unit on?

If the P15 then acts normally I would try each component plugged into the P15 individually and see if you can track down a culprit.

I have a P15 and this was happening to me every 3rd or so time I would power it up.

No shorts, no cable or other PSAudio equipment issues that I could tell.

Having a delayed startup/power sequence seems to have addressed this now. For me at least.

Cheers

Hello I now have this problem. My P15 clicks out and turns off after an hour or so. I get the short circuit message. I checked my circuit breaker and only after tripping it does the P15 turn on. After an hour or so, it clicks off again. Please provide a solution and any help is appreciated.

Hello, What devices did you connect to it? Unfortunately, in my experience, higher-powered amplifiers cause the problem. I was able to reduce the error message (not eliminate it!) by leaving the amplifier on all the time.

I do have 2 Parasound JC-1s. It is just strange that this is a recent development. It still happens when the amps(and others) are left on. I will consider the other traffic.
