Extremely happy Diresctream MKII/AirLens/Roon/Qobuz user for serious listening but sometimes I like the Spotify playlists for casual listening usually while reading (they do seem to have the whole themed playlist thing nailed better than anyone).
I noticed the other day, the AirLens appears in the Spotify app as a destination I can stream to (in addition to all the Sonos speakers in the house). I got excited, selected it…the song shows as playing in the app…but absolutely nothing comes thru the AirLens to the DAC. Am I doing something wrong?
I tried playing Spotify through my Air Lens, and it worked. I don’t know what the issue may be with your setup, but nonetheless I have a suggestion: reboot everything, and I mean every single thing: router, computer, all audio equipment, the works. This is easy, and will often fix perplexing issues. If not, nothing lost except for a little time.
I did all that and still no audio was passing from the AirLens to the DAC until I unplugged the I2S cable and plugged it back in. That did the trick. Go figure. Thank you!
