For those that use the Sprout 100 as a Roon endpoint, do you use the default settings or are there some changes to the defaults to that improve performance?
I’m using the defaults except for setting the volume to fixed. Was particularly wondering about the DSD Playback Strategy setting and MQA settings.
sprout has a DAC, but it’s not a streamer.
You’ll need a chromecast audio dongle, or raspberry pi or other dedicated streamer.
Or you can use the USB out from your computer into the Sprout.
Yes, should have included that. Roon is running on a Mac computer and the Sprout is connected via USB.
