Well for me it has ended. No I did not sell my wonderful StellarGlold. I did buy a Laiv Audio Micro DAC. It sounds great. They also sell a DDC. The Micro DDC. Note for full name add the word Harmony in front of the two aforementioned products.

When I use the DDC with my StellarGold. Green light and frequency and bit depth. You get it all. Also beautiful music Also the Saber 9038 will not work with MQA discs, but with the Harmony Micro DDC it does. Remember. I do have the Harmony Micro DAC and I have The Harmony Micro DDC. These are two separate devices. It is the DDC that cleans up the red light/no data issues.Good luck I really hope this will help someone.

Wow, +$800 USD just to get the green light is too much for me.

I have the same issue, sound but red light and no frequency and bits, with the Stellar Strata MKII and a Fiio streamer. I believe the issue is that Fiio doesn’t fully implement PSA’s I2S standard.

Maybe Laiv is implementing I2S correctly.
