Trying to shrug off the effects of a lot of snow shoveling yesterday. I’m going to carry on with the hard swinging as that takes me away from some stiffness and ache.

As this was discussed on another thread within the PSA forum, I thought I’d check its availability at a local record shop. They had five copies, this being the best of the bunch in its original AF inner plastic poly bag. This record clearly had never been played. It still had the black vinyl scraps and similar residue on each side from removing it from the record press. Plays as new, and $25 for an original 19160 Audio Fidelity Satchmo Plays King Oliver. Traditional ragtime is not my normal go to, but this is pleasant enough and the sounds is somewhere between you are there, and they are playing in the room. The walls just disappear and Louis is up front and center on his horn. Glad I followed up on a hunch and picked up a copy.
