Sub stacking?

I have a question. Has anyone tried or is stacking subs to create a line source with the subs? I have a pair of JL Audio F113V2 and was thinking maybe added another pair to stack. I use these subs in a 2 channel audio only set up. I know the gain and phase and crossovers will have to tweaked correctly for this to sound correct. Thoughts?

Darrenv1070, instead why not sell your fathoms and buy a pair of gothams, those are line source.

The REL line is designed to stack. I’ve not seen the Fathoms stacked… I’d get the F212’s if you really feel the need to create a seismic event.

Time for a REL Six-Pack, baby!

Thats true the 212’s are also line source, similar to the gothams, I forgot about the 212s.

Stacked subs work great using MiniDSP and REW.

Cool!

Cool!!

Cost is insane.

Separate subs with separate amps and controls is better than the same amount of woofers with less amps and controls.
