Room has changed quite a bit since my last posting. I was hoping to have the PP3 in for a complete system, but about to give up on that 
I have a dual purpose room. Although Covid has changed it pretty much just to a listening room.

It will be more than 2 cents if you feed 500 watts into those panels! They can handle about 200 watts and are power hungry up to their limits.
I use CLX ART, too, and on uncompressed music the bass dynamics can catch you off guard and make a nice blue FLASH in the bass panels. Since they are FULL range with the subs (I use two BF212) they still try to get linear excursion as you go louder. The CLX will play most stuff plenty loud but…watch the bass dynamics.
I set my BF212 subs to MANUAL and adjusted the gain, around 6, by ear and set the X-over to 50-55 Hz. The CLX DO NOT really go low in room at all. PHASE is where you place them. Mine are so close to the CLX I use near zero phase, and no, the Prfect Bass kit isn’t near as good as by ear. Yes, I used the PBK and the DSP EQ and it is not as good, or as FAST and TIGHT sounding as by ear. So off go the downloaded filter and PBK EQ. Try it both ways.
Set up like this and the bass to panel is very good. Just don’t expect the mid bass propulsion you’ll get with dynamic drivers. Thatt’s not what these were made to cature. They are a CHOICE to nail DETAIL and TEXTURAL perfection, and they do.
Sound quality for the price of the CLX is very good. They have a super uniform and “correct” midrange balance that is addictive and real in tonality. The sound stage is actually too big on FOLK vocals but it is so fun who cares. Nothing can be as big as an orchestra so you don’t notice it on that kind of music, but they don’t go “smaller” to the proper image size. But still, it’s great fun.
I also use T+A Solitaire CWT1000-40 speakers. These also use electrostatic panels 2KHz on up with eight mid couper drivers, 200Hz-2KHz, and four 8" woofers per side. These are the only speaker I’ve heard that can eclipse the CLX in midrange texture and that “real” level of detail. Once you hear the CLX or like electrostatic speakers a move “up” simply has to bring that purity along or you won’t be happy. No amount of bass whompem or mid range drive can replace the texture and detail that makes stuff seem real. To my ear, that requires electrostatic panels to move fast enough to get the job done. Now add mid range drive and bass integration attributes to that CLX level of detail and that’s $$$ to do,
Yes, the CWT 1000-40 exclipsed my bank account, too! But I did get it all, and paid dearly for it.

I also wasn’t talking about 500 watts in general in my post. And lastly, I am very well aware of the power and current demands of electrostatic loudspeakers.
Chops, Like James said the M1200 with more headroom and the extra power will make the finer details in the background more noticeable I think and the overall sound more effortless. Tho I’m not complaining the M700’s are great and I’m hoping to have the BHK Pre added to the system in the next couple days thanks to a “local” (2 hours away) BHK Preamp private owner sale! Then I can jump on board the tube rolling forum!

To lighten the mood, here’s my latest silly project.
Found some nice in-wall speakers for a giveaway price on craigslist, so I thought I’d make and mount some speaker boxes for our poolhouse. Power comes from an NAD D7050 amplifier and a chromecast audio. (Which I think does a better job than apple airplay.)
It’s not for bothering the neighbors, but nice for some background jazz in the evening.

Yes they are. When I moved my room around for 2 channel middle side walls were the best of the worst for response 
Now that 90% of my listening is 2 channel and I don’t use subs. I need to sell the SVS and get the smaller foot print of the REL Subs.
The post referenced power handling and so did I… expansion on that and to very recent earlier threads are for everyone’s enjoyment and not too disjointed from the conversation to combine them for clarity. I didn’t’ think that that’s too abstract. Is it? Yes, I considered who I posted to, elaborated on your power comment and added an addendum to what was posted recently.
Leave people and places in equal or better shape then when you arrived.
I did not get that FEELING from the attitude and civility in the post. People come here to expand and enjoy each other’s contibutions, yours too, not to compete for who already knew what when. I have no reason to judge your knowledge…but your public civility?
My second rule of good behavior is;
Judge people by what they DO and not what they SAY.
We all can say stuff we wish we could reel back. That’s part of being human. We perceive words as action, and that’s not wise, either. I think you mean well at heart, and if we were in the same room together I’m sure you would communicate differently. A bad day is that, a day. Over time we need to decide WHY this is so if it keeps up. That’s the third point;
You are who you hang with
We tend to be mostly who we chose to share most of our time with. We’ll share time with people we feel are worth our time, as we all should. Or, let that relationship(s) erode our values and who we are.
I share my time with you because I think you’re worth it, so far. People who follow us all on the blog do the same.
We all need to THINK about how we effect people when we post. Sometimes an aggressive post is most negative to the poster, not the recipient. We see and identify bad behavior, and good.
I don’t think you meant to be so uncivil, did you? There was nothing there to be so defensive about. Looking for trouble rarely finds it, but just makes it. I can do without that.

@clrvlewis Good thinkin’ on the RELs. They’ll be more musical for stereo listening and will still do great when you pop in a movie. (My opinion at least)

just finished these cabinets for my garage a couple of weeks ago. Plywood, and painted Park Tool Blue!
I’ll argue their appropriateness in this thread because the garage sound system is the old Apple Hi-Fi unit you see sitting on top of the right-most cabinet. (Also controlled via another chromecast audio dongle. I’m a sucker for these.)
This is all I read from your second over-lengthy post, and even that was too much.
I don’t know anything about you and you don’t know anything about me. One thing I do know is that you read way too much into my post to paul172, that you attempted to lecture me about audio, and now attempting to lecture me about life values or something.
