I got this, so I guess I’m in the same club?
Edit - to the left of R2 is his lesser known older brother PIFCO
Edit again- somewhere on the shelves there is a Dalek or two as well

Ok @joma0711 . You qualify. But the figures must remain in your listening room!
Ain’t no other room they’d be allowed in;)
Wow. Thunderbirds are Go! Years ago I did some work with Sylvia Anderson (Gerry Anderson’s former wife), who was the model for Lady Penelope and did the voice. She represented HBO in the UK at the time. A very smart and glamorous lady, even in her late 60s. Talking with Lady Penelope was absolutely freaky, as I was a massive fan as a kid. That slow posh accent was not put on at all, it was the genuine article.
ah Lady Penelope was rather special, even as a puppet
The lamp gave me a real surge of nostalgia. I had one when I was 6!
Still works - including the flashing red at the top
Very nice system. Looks like money well spent to me.
Nice cat in the corner there
Nice system. I love my little active system in the home office also.
I loved these shows as a kid.
I had to google them to “refresh” the memory, but these were in my TV lineup at any given time:
----Thunderbirds, Fireball XL5, Supercar, Stingray and Space Patrol…
Don’t even get me started on the trove of Japanese “creature” films and the plethora of terrible “B” sci-fi films that were a staple of Saturday afternoon viewing at that time.
…This could be a separate thread in its own right.
Is it my color blindness or the light, that cat is nearly as red as Garfield. Lasagna time!
Good sound and good music are like good people, cannot be measured by $ value.
Never feel the need to apologize for what brings you great joy. It’s a beautiful system.
Your system is wonderful. We are happy to hear (pun) from you, always.

My bedroom system is a pair of Sonos Play:3 in stereo pair. Good enough for there for me!
My passive setup. Those lower membranes are passive radiators on the Sansuis. They actually do go down to 25Hz, that’s partly why they sit on concrete blocks. They go to over 30kHz too, the Japanese really knew what they were doing in '78.
The beautiful Electrocompaniet amp isn’t visible due to 6" RCA limitations.
Here it is:
Stunning, just stunning, both the system and the room, absolutely love the wooden panelling and lovely wooden floors!
That’s my dream room, a cabin in the woods effect.
