might be the biggest cache of PSA gear i’ve ever seen, aside from PSA itself

That’s some serious woofage! No lack of power and authority there with all the drivers and electronics. Super duper!

using a self contained usb microscope to align my Strain Gauge phono cart.
I’ll take more pics once my DS MKII arrives, including my BHK300’s.

You can see the The whole room during a shoot - my listening room doubles as a film studio and screening room.

The table and preamp sits on Halcyonics type active vibration cancellation tables meant for electron microscopes. I’ll be floating the BHK300’s on those platforms as well.

You can see my Realtraps I use for acoustic treatment set up just out of frame of the film shoot to absorb reflections from our interview subject as he talks. I was using my new Schoeps shotgun mic to record his audio. Here’s a shot of some of details and mic collection.

If PS Audio ever does another expansion project, I should at least get a room named after me…

I might have a thing for subs… It’s normal to own 13 subwoofers, isn’t it…?

4 in the main system
6 in my garage system
2 in the bedroom
1 in my office

So…a couple weeks ago, I sent an email to Paul and proposed swapping in my Krell FPB-600c for the BHK-600’s and another P20, and also asked for some help coordinating the return shipping of the Krell (it weighs a lot…). Paul responded that the Krell was definitely holding me back. It seemed kind of odd to think of it that way…the original FPB-600 practically ushered in the “super amp” category. How much could it be “holding me back”?

Well…Paul was right. Even with just a few hours of play, the BHK’s are SO much more natural sounding. I can’t imagine what they’ll sound like fully burned in…I’m a super happy camper!!

Mo when you get a chance I’d love to hear your thoughts on the FR30’s and 600’s- are those subs Rel?

Are you going to get another set of Carbon Specials to complete the six pack? I know TMR has several open box options! Give Nick a call.

Originally I thought I might wait awhile to add another pair…but I just sent an email to TMR to see what kind of a deal they can offer me an open box pair. Might as well get it over with…

Are you really sure you don’t need another sixpack to have a stack in every corner?

Can I ask what you had prior to the FR30’s and Carbon specials?
Ya and get the 6 pack done! LOL
I actually did mine in stages too, so I could hear the differences.
