You have an enough serious to make me forget about a Polk Audio sound bar but I’m sure it’s nice!
Thank you @paul172 and @minnesotafats for your nice compliments!
When I play a 4k DVD movie, it is ran from the RCA output of the OPPO with a WW Platinum 8 RCA cable to the MK2, and the dynamics are truly frightening. The Wilson’s goes down to 20hz and really shakes the room! Voices are so natural and everything sounds so real from these speakers, even for movies. The Polk is only for off the air broadcast TV viewing so the voices are more tangible.
I can see that.
Update on the garage system hopefully to be turned into a lounge with proper acoustics. Current Frankenstein pairing economically speaking. MBL 9011 amps feeding Totem Mani 2s using Ever solo as source and Dac. Anthem Preamp Processor. Long term the MBL 101s will replace the totems, the MBL ref preamp will arrive along with 2 N31 Rel.subs. Prototyping room treatments for a 15 ft x 40 ft x 12ft high room. The totems shine with the MBL amps. Blessed.
Quite the set of garage amps!
Having the 9011s sideways confused me.
I am not a fan of the fan.
Is the fan for the Leslie effect?
Saying that the MBL 9011’s side ways in a garage system connected to an anthem processor and totem stand mount speakers is the confusing part!
Reminds me of those which one is different images.
Take a close look at the table and you will see an implement that shows why the fan is deployed to air out the garage when said implement is in use. I am not one of those users.
I thought that’s how the 9011’s got there in the first place!!
Hey, that Anthem AVM Pre/Pro is no slouch, provided one takes the time to implement Anthem’s very effective Anthem Room Correction (ARC). It has really nice balanced stereo inputs for receiving a signal from a high quality balanced stereo source component.
I own an Anthem pre/pro it’s good but the Diablo 300 for two channel is safe.
I am sure it is.
You can get an AVM 20 now for around $200. A great value to start a 5.1 or 5.2 surround system. Dacs onboard aren’t bad either.
Got to experience this tonight. Massive ribbon speakers. Over 6 feet tall. Top to bottom ribbons each. A single centered tweeter, midrange on either side. Then four bass ribbons on each side.
Otherworldly. Speed. Pristine everything. Precision with heart. My my my.
Driven beautifully with two 20 watt tube amps. Good golly.
But I am sitting at home now and it seems nice.
Heavenly
This is absolutely insane how great this must be. But did I read correctly there is a POLK sound bar in this set up? and if so can you explain why you would desire a Polk sound bar?
