Yes the Dr Chesky recording. Definitely violation of my personal space. I will need to try that again while standing up with the head tracker on away from seated couch. Feels too much like he is trying to crawl over my lap. They need to re-record that with Diana Krall or some other rising talent.

Iād say soundstage reaches beyond 3 and 9 on some of the recordings some effexts have extended 4:30 and 830 seems as good as rear surrounds in my HT.

Did you see BACCH Labs has 2 speaker surround sound software, with their technology only 2 speakers are need for a full Atmos effect?

Seems like all the growth is goingvto be in Virtual Reality Gaming versus Home theater. The effects once gets in the same line really falls off. Remains a singular form of entertainment but it is fun to watch otherās experiences. I do like being able to switch sweet spot filters for side by side listening. My room is not very conducive to tandem listening since it is not wide enough to form a good line.

I heard a sample of that when Edgarās phone died and he krpt me entertained with samples of tracks while he was charging it. So much in a world of music to explore now. New cables, amps or DAC firmware is a let down, a true comparison cannot even be possible. Those changes are puny in big picture differences.

Exactly. I ordered a 12v power adapter for the M-1 Mini to allow LPS. It is here not wanting to pay return shipment to China.
. Nice silver plated wires I may istall that and a better HDMI cable to improve the fuzzy display graphics compared to my Apple TV that uses a WWPS7 and Upgraded Shunyata power cord.
I will try the better Shunyata power cords first and Maybe a WWSS7 HDMI see if sound or display improves on mini. Hard to fathom better. But this Hobby you donāt know better until you hear it. The Baby face FS I can always try a LPS on that it does due some data manipulation according to edgar when streaming roon in this audiophile set up. It has a basic USB cord too. But best to listen first since all is so new and wonderful.
It will be interesting if the sound improves more. Doesnāt seem possible since this is a whole new level of sound relative to details and images, tonality and timbre. Iād try the DAC in the Baby Face Pro but that would mean tweaking software settings and I donāt want to goof up anything.

Here is Maui relaxing and found this BACCH thread has turned into a monster! I missed the last 100 plus posts easy. Vmax is having a great time with it for sure. I dunno, the package looks kind of complicated to me. I am more of one-cable-plug-in type of guy. My next goal is to get another Dragon power cord and I can handle that. BACCH? One of these days.
SF 49ers got trashed, and Iām happy I was flying instead of watching that. Going back to Mai-tai soon

I have some Hawaiian Music playlists i will play on the Bacch. The unamplified acoustic music will transport me back to the islands without Mai Tai and freezing sleet outside.
The one box solution is worthy of a flock of Dragon power cords. I say go that route and some powered speakers. But you like me need complications to stimulate the mind. So keep your Dragons and get the Mac.

Ordered the Intro package earlier today. Wonāt be able to do much with it for a few weeks awaiting arrival of the Mac Mini. Still waiting on the DSD MK 2 ordered 1/11ā¦ Prophet Job I am not 
As of an hour or so ago, Theoretica said they had one more Babyface Pro FS in stock in case anyone is interested in one of the Audiophile or Pro kits. After that, they donāt expect to have any more until late February. I suspect by then Iāll be a candidate for one of them

The MK2 takes a-lot of run in. I am letting mine still stream continuously since December 30. It just keeps getting better. Maybe new firmware will come with yours. The Bacch will sound open with anything I am convinced. But man can it do some percussion and acoustics. Defined solid bass. The bacch will make it shine even more.

You will be totally knocked out by the DAC in the BACCH-SP adio. I had it, the Gryphon Ethos, and the top end Ideon all hooked up at the same time. I couldnāt pick a favorite. I have been using the adio DAC for weeks now. Itās in another league entirely. Plus, with the adio you only need one power cable. It can easily be most of a system.
There is a possibility the adio DAC is limited to 192k or even more frightening 96k as a Roon endpoint. It matters not, just listen.

Placed a Shunyata VR14 power cord on the Mac Mini running Bacch DSP. Reduced audio noise and sharpened the display picture dramatically with a modest HDMI cable.
I also placed a quilt over the Left two inch deep first reflection absorber Diffusers.
It appears removing the wavy leaf diffuser stacked floor to ceiling diffuser plates is what Bacch DSP filter prefers I gained six feet of L/S soundstage.
Next trials adding LPS to Babyface Pro FS versus USB power. Finding a better audiophile USB cord between Mac Mini and the Ultra.

That is some serious toe-in.
Do you have a solid, consistent center image when required, as appropriate?

The comparison would have to be in the same room. Since the ear microphones are doing the room correction. The algorithm assumes someones room is perfectly damped and consistent. Perhaps the wraparound affects behind the ear would be greater. The head transfer functions are pretty matched between anyone according to Edgar. You would have to have an outlier head shape for humans and extreme differences in head height. Just a man being told heās a dog shouldnāt matter much for the Bacch algorithm for head shape. Lol
