3 out of 5 time’s rebooting the mini will resect bacch DSP settings. If no musice you have to go align those to screen shots. The Roon App and Roon bridge cannot run together one or the other. If you’re USB cable or ethernet cable gets bumped it can cause a hang. Of course I experienced them all in my tweaking frenzy. I think I burned up his phone. He is chill about it. The problem is 50 percent Bacch4Mac 50 percent streamer issues i thinnow 5 minutes if I get a hang I can get it going myself. It usually wiil be tart up but I did have one that perplexed Edgar on a binaural microphone filter.
If you’re a Mac computer nerd it will take a minute. If you’re a bit rusty 5 to 10 minutes if it hangs on stRt. The mini reboots fast. Sometimes its a roon reboot yawn take a nap. The Bacch4 Mac settings you memorize as well as the Babyface pro Midi setup.
Last night it was singers underwater blowing bubbles. Ended up I had roon bridge and Roon playing music same time thus a slight timing bubbling noise trying to play two signals. My Mac skills rusty I had to have Edgar figure it out. Now i know better and just have Roon launched. I was set up for Roon Bridge launch. But wanted to seelyrics on the Mac feed the signals got out of time. New bug for me.

The sound improvement is worth the temporary pain in the arse of retraining your brain. Once it is rolling it is trouble free.My P20 had a power spike. I learned a new method of failure. Edgar was all over it. Wasn’t the Bacch. They are responsive until early morning hours. He has two others taking calls. However Edgar is all over it. It is his brainchild and baby. Eventually you learn it. I feel I did. There is a whole other level of recorded music you are missing. I am not bullshitting. The live impact of correct timbre be it cymbal, brass, or string instruments.or vocals. Do not underestimate what screwed up timing from mufflling cross talk challenges the in home experience.
So the intro BaccH4 Mac must be doing the job. I have been experimenting with head tracking. Space it wide enough your partner sitting next to you can take it over to their side by putting their head in front of yours. Camera follows. Or you can take it back. You just need to set it up do your head is in their space when filters are calculated.
I agree about that, I have seen that as well. In this case, those dates are pretty far apart.

Unless I hear some really consistent behavior from BACCH4MAC users, I will pass. I am trying to simplify my life. So far, this doesn’t read like that.
Don’t get me wrong, I am all in on people getting their geek on. I personally can’t have something fussy in the main system. It’s one of the reason’s why we have Control4, one remote controls everything. With the BACCH, it can’t go belly up while I am on travel.
I agree with you and it’s why as “life changing” as Bacch is supposed to be it’s not anything I would consider anymore than Roon and all it’s issues would be. Even though even after multiple thinning’s I still have over 2500 LP’s and 1000 CD’s and the gear to do them justice I got into streaming to simplify. So as a result I have no interest in all of the add-ons, extra processing and tweaks that many here rely on just to stream from Tidal or Qobuz. Instead after much trial and error I found a singular streamer brand with both good build and software and have stuck with it in the Main systems. If I wanted complicated I could just go back to vinyl and all of the rituals associated with it. Playing with things like the Zen Stream or the Holo Red are just curiosities and are parts of secondary systems.
If you are talking to somebody in particular then just address them and spell it out. Being cryptic is not always as effective as you may think it is. We are all "big boys’ here or so I thought.
