Ultimate DC supply

I’ve come to understand that the most sensitive electronics should be powered by quiet, capable batteries.

I could buy on sale right now 5S4P packs of Toshiba Scib 2.3V LTO batteries, so 11,5V per pack and 80Ah. Peak current only 500A… only 195€ per pack, that’s cheap. Could buy a lifetime’s supply of modular DC supplies for any component. Stack a few and do the 55V rails on the amp too…

Anyway, for many a DAC 12 volts is standard. Such a pack plus a regulator would buy a superb powersupply for a DAC accepting that. With the correct regulator and possible filtering plus properly executed connectivity, this would surely be much better than say, an iFi iPower Elite or somesuch. There is no source of noise to begin with.
