USB Problems (Windows)

Paul McGowan said Email us or call us if you need to return a product for repair. RMA stands for Return Merchandise Authorization - fancy term for a piece of paper that tells us what's being returned and why.
Hello Paul,

I believed the hardware no problem, because I has test power board & digital board with on PWD of my friend, its work well. I used PWD long time & I has upgraded to Mk2, I clear it (I’m the first person used PWD in Vietnam and introduce somes my friend to use PWD, MK2, DSD with me. We loved sound PerfectWave DAC)

I think, I can’t return my PWD for repair, because the shipping cost very high & customs procedures very difficult (I’m in Vietnam).

Maybe, software or bootloader on display have problem with USB input?

I find in forum and see:

Release 2…10 01/20/12 BS

I has upgraded firmware from 2.4.6 to 2.9.1, 2.9.3 and reinstalled 2.4.6 but not affect USB input, others input playing well.

Send me firmware “Release 2.2.10 01/20/12 BS” to try installed it.

Tks!

P/s: If I install software “Boot Rescue Disc For DirectStream” to reset & fixed all input in PWD, after reinstall firmwares of PWD agian. Can I do that?

I don’t have a release 2.2.10. All I have is 2.2.0 and 2.3.0.

2.2.0 is at http://updates.psaudio.com/dak/11-054-01-X-FMC-17.zip

2.3.0 is at http://updates.psaudio.com/dak/11-054-01-X-FMC-21.zip
