I love the Cardas with Brighter side speakers. I use the Cygnus line. <$2,000 for the pair for your monoblocks (assuming they are closer to the speaker).
I have matched them with Audioquest Mackenzie for good results but have since moved on to Fidelium which list for around $1250 I think???
You might want to look into these directly from the manufacturer. They are in a bi-wire configuration which your speaker can use. I am using the single wire version in my Main system and have for a little over a year. Read the description and then the very long user thread on Audiogon. They fit the profile of the type of speaker cable you are looking for with your speakers. If you don’t like them within 30 days just send them back for a full refund minus the shipping. Same deal on their XLR interconnects and they almost always have discounted demo sets on hand for sale. My system uses a complete loom of their SC’s and balanced IC’s.
These cables are likely a third the cost you are being quoted for the OFC based Cardas Cables.
Not fixated, just bewildered. You continue to ask for advice here then opt to follow various dealers’ recommendations and then complain that the dealers’ are steering you in the wrong direction. Rinse and repeat. It’s sad.
Was using Nordost red dawn LS full loom … then opted to try DH labs Q10 big huge bang for the buck. silver over coninuos graim copper 6 ft pair $550/pair…
Sound wise wonderfully balanced with my Focal 948 speakers…highs very airy spacious with strong detailed lower and mid bass same for the mids. So I went crazier and am auditioning the Deity 6’ pair $3900…way better in all categories than theQ10.
Indeed the Nordost red dawn speaker cable now sounded meh by contrast.
Here are links to the DH labs:
My system : PS P15, Oppo 205, McIntosh C49 pre, Parasound JC5 amp Focal Aria 948 speakers.
Great combo but far more so with DH Labs speaker cables.
Yes I do use the cable company’s lending library as is my intent to purchase.
My son has a pair of the Focal Aria speakers from that range but not the 948s. Very nice sounding speaker, yet very warm sounding. I can see how the silver Nordost cables would compliment those speakers. I’m kindof the opposite with the new B&W sound. I think I need to stay away from silver cables.
Burn these cables in. Then listen listen and listen again…initially the cables may sound harsh, out of balance tonally…but once settled in will give you the measure of what these can do for you.
So did you get bananas or spades…how did it go attaching to speakers and amp?
Should it be after a good shakedown that you don’t like them, you might be able to return them …
Wireworld makes fine cables both speaker and IC’s and I’ve owned multiple pairs over the years from different series. In your case based on your speaker and gear I would have stopped at the OCC Copper Equinox line and stayed away from the silver over copper cables as they can be harsh which you don’t need. Also would have saved over $3500 for the set. If this is again another dealer recommendation then they are still not listening to you or you’re not making yourself clear. With the Equinox line you would not only tame down some of the harshness but also could buy new IC’s and digital cables for less than the price of the Silver Exclipe speaker cables alone. Your system doesn’t need “exotic” big name cables just ones that correct the issues that bother you. Other than that just buy the Schitt equalizer and be done.
