Using OFF in the Preamp section of the remote turns my SACD transport ON when it's in standby?

I have 3 PS Audio devices:
Directstream DAC
BHK Pre
SACD Transport

When I’m turning in for the night, my intent is to:

  1. Keep the DAC ON all the time (Not Standby) - It is normally dimmed (via Dim on the remote) so I don’t burn out the display.
  2. Put the BHK Pre on Standby by pressing OFF in the Preamp section of the remote - the display is normally dimmed as well because when you Dim, you Dim everything.

So, in the above, the SACD Transport is normally in Standby already, but when I press the OFF in the Preamp section of the remote, the screen for my SACD Transport turns on, which I assume means it’s not in standby anymore.

Am I misunderstanding something with the usage of the PS Logo Button, the DIM button, Preamp OFF button on the remote?

What happens when you press OFF in the Preamp section a second time? Maybe that’ll work.

Just tried it, the SACD Transport just turns ON if I press the OFF in the Preamp section 1 time. Pressing it 2 times or more has no effect. The SACD Transport PS Audio logo button is definitely NOT illuminated when I’m pressing OFF in the preamp section of the remote, which signifies to me that it is in standby.
