WA quantum chip and P10

I was inspired by an other thread on this forum (the quantum fuses). About 2 years back a bought a bunch of WA quantum chips.

A set of loudspeaker chips, 10 cable chips, 10 transformer chips, fuse chips, etc. It came out they actualy work and can influence the sound with a big amount. This many chips will realy ruin the sound.

This week after solving an other soundproblem due to a P10 firmware I started again and tried a few chips one by one. The first one is on the powerinlet of the P10 and the result is stunning. More bass tighter, more air more natural, bigger soundstage.

I placed a second chip on the powerinlet of the poweramp and again the soundstage became deeper, but bass became a bit thinner.

So I took off the chip from the poweramp. After this I placed the two loudspeakerchips on the speakers. Again the sound changed in a good way. More rest, more tight (speed), a bit more bass.

The result is that even on low volumes the music is tonal richer and more live like.

Don’t go mad with the chips. Personally I don’t like the fuse chips they made my system sound flat.

Just try the chips one by one and start at the begin of the powersupply.

Again I had a big SQ problem at the begin of the week with a not working P10 firmware.

But now I can’t stop listening.

Link please .

Link to what? A logical link between chips and sound quality? :D

Or this one: http://www.vhaudio.com/wa-quantum-chip.html ? Or Google ;)

Tip! It’s better not to stick the quantum stickers permanently. Just use adhesive tape so you can take them off again.

See, there you just spoiled the entire joy of listening >:)

Well see it in another perspective.
You can spend more time listening when you want one off. If else it will cost you an hour and a sticker. :)

Could you expand your comment please? - ‘The first one is on the powerinlet of the P10’, which Quantum chip did you use and is it actually on the powerinlet of the P10, or the power cord going into the powerinlet?

Thanks.

@Sheridd2

I made some pictures. I’m sure it looks pretty stupid, but the result is very clear audible.

The one at the powerinlet of the P10 is a cablechip.

On the speaker is a loudspeakerchip.

Not looking to insult , but if your wife or other person blindfolded you . Could you pick out the change better than 50%. Did you try it that way.

It looks like a security strip .

@alekz

Listen the reason I asked for a,link is sometimes we find the wrong product or are you perfect as I am not .

Did not try that, but I'm 100% sure that I would pick them every time.

I even think I can give the place where they are put on the speakers. Low on the speaker in the mittle or at the top. In this case I would say I will be right in 70%+.

Wow. What the hell are they. And I was not joking every time I think I understand things someone opens a window and out goes my ideas. How do they work. ?

Nobody knows. I checked various forums. The official explanation does not explain anything.

Probably they do not...

You know, I would prefer an explanation something like: “The sticky stamps are positively charged by a South Rhodesian shaman and then treated with a properly mixed Qi by a qigong master”. In this case I would probably buy some chips… But “the chips change the molecular structure”… Sorry…

That actually gives me an idea to play with Qi balls. What would be the best for speaker cables? Yin? Yang? Or a mix? :wink:

I agree, and calling them "quantum" is ridiculous. An honest "I have no idea" is vastly preferable.

I am guessing but I am willing to say they have a printed metallic pattern on the back side or even in the middle of them. Maybe in some way they effect the field of what they are neer .

Maybe that is why I have never had any interest in them. Set my BS detector off with something like their statement any you have placed one hell of a hurdle in front of yourself to get over to gain my interest in the product. Alekz’s suggestion is only slightly less bad but I have had a little experience with metaphysics and am a little less quick to dismiss that than pure bullshit physics marketing pitches. Like Elk, I am far more interested in a product that is sold as ‘It does this but we have no idea as to how or why’ and might even be willing to give it a try if the cost is small.

The smaller ‘Quantum Chips’ (BS) are inexpensive enough that even I could experiment with them should I be so inclined. I admit that it is not simple to dismiss all of the positive reports that I have read, some even in this forum.
