We also love hi-end watches

I wonder what’s going to go for $2,000?

Must be hell trying to decide which to wear

I will accept that challenge.

I love Swiss Kubik master box winders (not start box). Blue tooth controllable to change winding and stuff. Very quiet. The do single to upto 8 watch winder versions.

I wanted this for a long time:

Before you buy a new Omega Speedmaster, go to a shop, pick one up and feel the finish of the case. See how it feels in your hand. I found (a couple years ago) the newer ones to have rather sharp edges that feel unrefined compared to the older ones. They might have improved but check.

I remained strong. I’m holding out for that Air King.

Anyone have any experience with Oris? While not COSC certified officially, they claim that level of accuracy as well as 5-day power reserve and a 10-year warranty. They seem to have some REALLY attractive watches. (No, I’m not considering a Kermit the Frog watch)

I’ve also been interested in Oris. Agreed, some nice looking watches.

Black Friday Special from Wolf. $92 a piece for American Flag leather watch winder. I think that is a good deal.

Well done. Can you power with batteries also or only AC?

Both batteries and chords. Note they provide a daisy chain chord to connect all three boxes into one power supply. I bought six and my friends have scarfed up the other three. Honestly regretting selling them as I am going to build up a stock of watches.

Splurged a little when a friend offered this for 1.5k less than he paid pre-owned circa 2014. I like it more than I thought. The 44m size case is actually more comfortable than I thought. The blue to black dial transition is also nice.

New in 2011. Just overhauled……now within ± 2 sec/day. Correctible within nighttime position error. Best overhaul/re-calibrate I’ve ever had on a Rolex.

I am always torn between the Explorer Ii and the GMT Ii. Same two time zone ability with different looks. I like the relative subtle look of the Explorer Ii

You have awesome friends.

I passed on an Explorer to hold out for an Air King. My name may never come up, but I feel okay waiting for what I really want.

My Tudor remains a dream come true.

Because I am a terrible saver, I splurged and bought the T-Fit bracelet after the fact. A painful expenditure but in the end, entirely worth it.

So was on the wait-list for a steel Daytona and then this thing arrived in white gold. I picked it up at retail because two different friends want it for their own use. Not going to flip it and make $7k…Glad I have friends that want it because I couldn’t see having something this valuable on my wrist everyday. The friends understand the friend pecking order so no conflict there.
