We also love hi-end watches

Hey, I just saw this thread. My small collection runs from a couple of older Omega Constellations to a number of upper end Seikos to one Grand Seiko (all automatic), to an everyday Citizen Eco-Drive (yes, not in the same league but it is a clever mechanism and it keeps good time), to an old USSR made 23 jewel pocket wind up watch, that amazingly after I don’t know how many years still works well.

I would go with a Sinn 556.

That is nice. I really like Heuer’s 2 dial panda. I wish they sold them in that color combo.

IMO that’s the classic Rolex.

You guys are missing the boat here, my current choice and has been for some time is Rado watches!
They make some of 5he most stylish and interesting watches including the materials that the watch case is made from…
Just my 2 cents!

Im getting one of these from the vault or custom this year. https://www.makerwatchcompany.com/

I haven’t worn a watch for years, and the last one was plastic, but I came across a chap called Itay Noy in his studio and he makes some wonderful timepieces.

Have a few high end mechanicals, but nowt wrong with battery powered after.
Always good if the watch has a “story”, this one is the patented design of the Swiss National Railway.

The red circular secondhand marker is meant to represent the Signalmans’s red paddle apparently…

Mondaine successfully sued Apple for stealing it for their Clock App on an early IOS.
Funny old world…

The Mondaine is a great looking watch! The Tag, is at the other end of the spectrum, still, a great watch I’m sure.

The Mondaine watches are gorgeous, paeans to good, Swiss design. Always a classic look.

That being said, give me a TAG Monaco and a porkpie hat and call me Heisenberg.

I always thought the name was a bit unfortunate.

That is the classic Rolex IMO

Tuning Fork Watches, Bulova Accutron and Omegas

Edited Dec 29th to add another image. I believe the tuning forks in the Bulova Accutrons run at 360hz and the Omegas at 300hz. The watches are surprisingly accurate and the technology obviously predates quartz (i.e. from the 1960s).
