We also love motorcycles

There’s nothing like the unmistakable Ducati sound.

And no substitute for the feel of a Duc engine.

When I pull on the throttle it is quite joyfull in both categories. Mmmm. The big six is more jet like. It really accelerates hard but it’s turbine like.

And in-line fours are akin to oversized sewing machines.

My S1000RR is quick and powerful (over 200 BHP) but possesses little personality and less soul.

I have had so many inline fours. They were always my favorite

I gave it some serious consideration but I don’t think I can manage a 700 lb+ bike at this stage of my life. Undeniably a steal on a fantastic bike though. Five years ago I’d be on my way to grab it.

Then there’s the handling, and gitty up and go of a Ducatti. Oh, mama! A college buddy is now the Chicago area Ducatti sales manager, and a long time racer. Lest I forget he is the AHRMA 2018 and 2020 Champ. I no longer do motorcycles after my brother’s horrendous accident.

Here he is:

I am currently in Rosholt Wisconsin, 30 miles away from your house by Ducati.

Oops, Wiscissippi.

Haven’t been on one, but Scott, my college Bud would agree.

You running the terminus ridges on that Ducatti? Which model. Those roads are a riot, did them a month back in a friend’s '69 Alfa Romeo GTV. I think I prefer a more modern ride, must be an age related thing.

This is not his, but provides the era’s sense of style for those who may care, it is a stunner IMO.

Commonly referred to as Wiscabama also. BTW enjoy the ride, you could not have better weather for it.

I love GTVs. I had some and raced one.
And that’s not where the wipers rest. Just in case one wonders.

Stock photo, from the inter-tubes. I didn’t snap any of his vehicle. Sweet car all the same.

Hopped on the GS today for city riding…not a Starbucks bike. This 09 vintage workhouse has taken a beating and keeps on ticking
