Alone with only a guitar and a piano.

Surprisingly compelling, especially the last song.

Went to see a new piece tonight called Silent Lines by Russell Maliphant, music by Andy Cowton, lighting by Michael Hulls. Was amazing. Here’s another one by the same team with the incomparable Sylvie Guillem. Saw her do this three times.

Found the Battle of the Bands from Blues Brothers 2000. It struck me that this may have been one of the biggest collection of talent on one stage. Check it out and try to identify everyone. How Blue Can You Get?

Zappy Halloween!

I missed FZ’s 10/31/81 shows, but I was at the Palladium for 10/31/80, 10/29/81, and 11/01/81. A great era and great times!

I was at Dweezil’s 2018 Choice Cuts tour on Halloween (my birthday) in Asheville NC. Never got to see Frank, had tickets to see him on his last tour but the band broke up, I think in 88.

Not exactly on YT, except for the Trailer and some clips - it’s on Netflix. Worth a watch if you like that period:
