Please, listen to Donny Hathaway.
Anyone else enjoying the unofficial John Prine concert recordings that have appeared online as tributes since his passing earlier this month? This Halloween 1984 show is perhaps the best of the ones I have heard so far.
Never followed his solo career, but I did like the Zombies
Their “difficult third album”, sounds good to me, lots of darkness lots of cool vibes and lots of deep bass
I visited the USA once (for work). Ct in February, lots of snow and bad hotel food.
Nice folks at work though, they were very understanding when I asked if I could “bum a fag”…
Yes, I remember buying the Zombies’ single ‘She’s Not There’. I have a couple of Zombies’ LPs. Colin Blunstone also recorded under a pseudonym Neil …… something or other … But I just can’t remember, I would have to check it out. I wasn’t a big Zombies’ fan. I remember Blunstone’s name would appear on Alan Parsons albums! I feel old pulling out all of these albums…52+ years!
Classic!!!..
I have The Zombies Odessey And Oracle , it was in the wife’s first auction buy and in excellent condition.
That’s one of the two I have. And I think there might be a Best of! So three albums.
Nowt “guilty” about liking this IMHO - it’s a cracker, with some brilliant playing on it
My wife likes to make fun of me for being a Rush fan. Screw her lol!
