Just a few cuts but love Pirates off this album, saw them perform it live with orchestra (Godfrey Salmon Conducting) at MSG back in the day.
In the last auction buy my wife participated in, there has to be 20 Tangerine Dream LPs. I’ve only listen to 1, a 45 rpm LP.

The CD is very good, even the wife likes it.
I’m going through this set slowly. Absorbing then moving on. Still listening to the first concert.
As a guitar lover I always wish Jerry hadn’t found the Travis Bean guitar and experimented with it so long. I just don’t think it allowed him the palette of sound that Alligator or Wolf did. The one positive thing I’ll say about Jerry with the Bean is its sound and texture blended better with the signature Bob sound.
I was a big fan “back in the day”, though never saw them live, still enjoy a few of their albums 
Yesterday I had “vibes.” I started my listening to this cd by Betty Roche “Take the A Train” on Solid Records/Bethlehem originally. It has Eddie Costa on vibes which is an automatic reason to buy any album. 
And I moved from there to Gary Burton’s “New Vibes in Town” on Sony Japan cd, and then moved on to Jay Hoggard’s “Fountain” on Muse cd.
Had to revisit Betty today though. . .

I don’t usually listen to youtube videos but I had a sudden urge to hear a “trombone coda” and found this clip that I love to listen to.

It does make me sad though. While New Orleans has been hit pretty hard with the virus, the tourist industry is SHUT DOWN. I emailed a good friend yesterday. She runs a four room hotel (part of her home) far downriver in the upper 9th ward. It’s an absolute gem of a place. All of April and May is cancelled with little end in sight. They’re from New Orleans, so hardship goes with the territory. She hired a bunch of service workers, who have no work, to upgrade two of her four rooms. Have to stay optimistic.
I’m booked for the end of July. If I go, things are good again.
