Between your playlists, @Dirk 's spins from his museum and everyone else’s posts I have enough new to me high quality music to last a very long time. Thanks to all for the effort!

@Dirk That is a good Willie Nelson record.

Cheers. It’s on vinyl, but I couldn’t be bothered photographing the jacket so I lifted the image from amazon! Glad you like my varied collection.

Real talent. George Mraz has terrific energy. Excellent sound quality. A good test for your system. Track three swings like crazy.

Tell her that she’s most welcome. My wife really likes him too. This is the vinyl version…really good!

I’ve only just got around to this. I must admit it’s a bit wearing. A lot of warbling. It was written to celebrate the verity exciting Venetian victory over the Turks in Corfu. I don’t see the link to the story of Judith.

I was less attracted to the picture by Allori. It was recently on display at the Royal Academy, in the context of the creation of the Royal Collection by Charles I. One of the weaker pictures, if not superficially attractive. The recording may have been more inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi’s much more famous effort in the Uffizi. The warbling continues.

Moved on to Spain, what might have been heard in Court at the same time as Vivaldi’s Judith. Spain’s answer to Bach? Possibly not.
