Been playing this album. Busy, so ended up hearing it through. Bit of a curate’s egg (good in parts). Not helped by periodic playing of shawms. A shawm sounds like an oboe reproduced through an amp with a broken output stage. In the circumstances please do not ask me about the SQ.

interesting one i stumbled upon. Great piano work; a little avant garde at times with sound effects but some really nice stuff.

Mason’s “Alone Together” is my favorite album.
But “We Just Disagree” is a great song and probably the pinnacle of his popularity.

One of my favorite piano trios. Unfortunately the pianist died in a scuba diving accident. Tragic.

Do listen to their other albums as well. I would recommend “Strange Place for Snow”, “Seven Days of Falling” and 'Viaticum".

I agree, 100%. “Alone Together” is his first solo recording and his standout album… Good call. I will have to look it out and give it a spin.

A collection of melancholy songs. Great cover picture though. The sound quality had me checking that I hadn’t been slipped an mp3 on the sly, but it declared itself 16/44.1

Spotify has a version of “All Along the Watchtower” by Dave Mason & Steve Cropper. Says 2018. Who knew? It’s good. Can’t tell what album it’s from. There are two other so-so cuts with Gretchen Rhodes.

Excellent. I do like your style… ; )

Didn’t know about this… I think they were considering touring together - which would be great, but it might just be pie in the sky!

English - singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist - Olivia Chaney. Her 2015 debut CD “The Longest River” and her second album 2018 “Shelter”… Excellent CDs.
