Some great playing and singing but, geez, early-ish digital recordings can sure be hard sounding.
@Jazzophile: I have the original. Copied it to tape when I bought it and basically listened to it that way. My original has probably been played twice at most. How does this reissue hold up, especially as it is tinted vinyl.
Listening to CD3 (the Seacrest Motel Rehearsals, Falmouth, MA, Oct. 29, 1975) of this new 14CD box set. A very easygoing and loose vibe, and the performances are great. (I tried to Google “Seacrest Motel,” which is how the venue is described in the box set; as far as I can tell, though, the actual name is the “Sea Crest Hotel.”)
Picked up from an @RonP post. Just what I need to hear right now.
particularly dig Bill’s 70’s look.

I’m listening to some ear candy. It’ll make anything sound good. My system is moving in the right direction but it’s still not where I want it to be.
Thanks for putting up with my posts. I do love y’all. The internet is a look into hell…not here. See ya next week.

Response from Qobuz to my query.
"Thanks for contacting us. I understand your frustration with this. Hopefully, I can clarify what is going on.
When tracks are not cleared for our streaming service (vs paid download) they will play a 30-second preview. We are still expanding our streaming catalog and hope to have it pretty much complete in the very near future. We are adding thousands of releases every day.
If there some releases you are looking for specifically, let us know and we will do our best to prioritize them."
@Sohail - I am leaving Qobuz and reluctantly going back to TIDAL (in Roon) because I keep getting frustrated when an album is not yet licensed for my country.
I think they used the remaster for this edition. I don’t care much for the remaster, but all in all a fun release visually. Your original edition will sound superior to this one for that reason. I don’t see much difference in tinted vinyl and regular vinyl. Picture LPs on the other hand sound like garbage all around.
I thought that may be the case. I’ll most likely take a pass on this particular reissue.
