Where’s my god and where’s my money?
Makes your feet move and your smile big.
Where’s my god and where’s my money?
Makes your feet move and your smile big.
Feelin’ that, lyrically and musically.
Sounds like fun.
Praise Jeebus for your picks, 'Cat. : )
My favorite concept album of the last 2 decades. Put your head banging, punk loving moves on for a wild 42 minute listen.
“I guess the heavy stuff ain’t quite at its heaviest by the time
it gets out to suburban Minneapolis.”
“The 80’s almost Killed Me
So let’s not Recall them so Fondly”
A bit short on initiative this morning so I just picked an album from my Qobuz favourites list. Jordi Savall. 24/88.2. That it is a favourite says it all.
Finishing this one up this morning

@Paul recommended this particular recording of Rutter’s Requiem on another thread here. He said, in sum, if your gear can’t get out of the way so you can enjoy this, then you need new equipment. I was worried for a minute, but thankfully all of my gear, including Stellar M700 mono blocks and Stellar GCD, got out of the way. Even my wife was amazed, and she is learning this piece for performance.
Certainly not my favorite, but a great record. (So many great ones from Pops. I actually enjoy “Plays W.C. Handy” more–a fantastic night in the recording studio of a working band on the road–and there are hundreds of essential 78 sides ahead of this in my Pops pantheon.) But I sill love it!
