Going down for Krewe du Vieu, 1st weekend, of 3, of Mardi Gras. Been to New Orleans 20 times now and never for any Mardi Grass events. Can’t wait. Booked my favorite hotel a year ago. Way down in the upper 9th ward. Ships, lots of rail, huge abandoned Navy base, old industry…heaven.
