@amsco15 RE: The Roots. Had a great vinyl experience with The Roots How I Got Over (Def Jam Recordings, 2010) and I think you may want to have a listen. While I canât overtly vouch for sonic quality (my LP sounded killer), I remember Tidal sounding pretty good too. I suggest listening to Tracks #1, #2, #3 all in a row, starting with some intro vocals and then moving to the thoughtful lyrics and profound talent of MC and Roots-Founder Black Thought. Different from a lot of Hip Hop out there, these guys are a band. Weâre not talking drum machines and button-pushing. Note, instead, Questloveâs stunning percussion. They perform and record with full brass, bongos/congas courtesy of Frank âKnucklesâ Walker, electric bass and guitar, organ, all of it!

Hope you enjoy!

Melody Gardot Live In Europe, streaming via Qobuz, I bought myself the Sublime+ subscription for my birthday.

Yes! It is great fun. I really enjoy seeing the breadth of our fellow forum membersâ taste.
Usually threads like this in other forums are clogged with audiophile darlings, not real music. ![]()
