Beethoven’s 2nd! - March 27th, 1945. Listening to the remastered CD from the great Masterworks Heritage series on Sony Classical.

Couple more days to enjoy my yearly dive into Christmas music. One of my favorites of-course. Pretty good sounding too. 24/44.1 FLAC.

Last one for the day. Taking my folks to my son-in-law’s hipster bar in Wicker Park (Noth Side) tonight: Tapster.
Lots of listening on the docket for tomorrow! Ahhh a 4 day weekend with another to follow. Too bad I have to keep working, after the big stock losses. Oh well, it’s never easy. Gotta keep the faith.
Luciano Berio: Formazioni, for orchestra (1986)
Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra/Stefan Asbury

Y’all only have to put up with this, maybe, one more time. Love, love, love this CD.
Philipp Heinrich Erlebach (1647-1714): Cantatas

I had a 45rpm LP copy of this (well…still have it but no turntable). Downloaded a 24/192 FLAC yesterday. Sounds great but the LP was better, at least that’s how I remember it. Record is genius no matter how many times I listen!
Found this on TIDAL while looking unsuccessfully for @amsco15’s “Christmas on the Countryside.”
Country soul on Bear Family Records? Yes, please!
Happy holidays to all!
