What Classical are you spinning?

The 6th Symphony doesn’t get as many performances/recordings as Dvorak’s last three, however, the below recording makes a good case that it deserves your attention.

Well done with an exciting Vodnik (The Water Goblin) as well…

Listening to the 1981 recording sessions, Glenn Gould, The Goldberg Variations, Gould’s humming is too distracting to ignore. I’m surprised the engineers couldn’t mask it somehow.

I have a friend , a Jake Purches (Worthing, UK) who has started his own label, he only records the organ, and only in SACD and in DSD. So been listening to his recording that he made in Rochdale Town Hall (near Leeds and Manchester, UK) and that I was the main sponsor for… Base 2 music - Organ and classical music recordings

We usually don’t need harp so often, but if nightscapes on harp are asked for, this is a nice recording for a certain mood. Very good sound again.

I like it. I especially enjoyed John Field’s and Clara Schumann’s tracks.
