What happened to the DSD MKII beta thread?

This is how the trade in program works. If you trade in an original Direststream DAC which lists for $6000 and they allow you $3500 for your DAC toward the new one. They subtract $3500 from the $6000 list price leaving you with a balance applied to your account of $2500. They are not going to give you an extra $899 over the list price credit. Now look up the P-15 Power Plant and you will see the maximum trade in allowance is $2250. In this case that almost uses up your $2500 credit. After this purchase you would still have $50 left that you could apply to another purchase. It is a very generous program but they will not exceed the total list price of the item traded in with credit. Paul also clarified that he is not an accountant and that he was responding to the more general question about leftover balances.
