The “spinning now” thread mentioned a couple of good internet stations, but thought it might be fun to have a thread focusing on cool radio streams. Also, Roon now makes it easier to add stations to your library. (You can browse and search, but you can also paste the stream’s URL into Roon to add the station.)

Bonus points for hi-res FLAC streams!

I’ll start with a well-known one as the anchor, Radio Paradise.

Here’s a long list of steams ‘found’ over the past couple of years. Now that Roon Live Radio is live, this thread is destined to die but there are some gems buried amongst the many posts.

Oh, one of my fave stations is KGSR out of Austin TX.

Haven’t listened in a while, but it looks like they’ve changed their name to Austin City Limits Radio.

I’m away from my Roon server at the moment, but I think Roon accepts Tunein URLs. I’ll edit if need be.

I find Jazz groove.org very fun to listen to. I likeThe “Laid back” jazz concept, all the songs played are real good songs. simple but good.

Sorry, I cannot find anything other than the above link (I checked the Auralic app, and while KEWU is built-in, there does not appear to be a way to access the underlying stream url).

For KEWU, that link seems to work within Roon (at least it did for me).
