I don’t support a very big rack , and all of the siting components are less than one year old.
Infinity Modulus crossover and Modulus subwoofer, 34 years old.
My Sony X55ES CD player is 34 years old, but it is now used only occasionally as the sound of my streaming system has improved dramatically over the past few years. I guess my Thorens TD160C turntable is even older, but I have not played any records on it in several years. The oldest gear in regular use in my system is my Thiel CS 2.2 speakers, which are 32 years old. None of my other gear is more than 5 years old.
My 24 year old Mark Levinson 334 amp. Everything else is fairly new. Waiting for the Bhk 250 replacement amp to come out.
18 YO Anthony Gallo Acoustics Reference 3.1 Speakers
17 YO Anthem AVM 50v Pre/Pro
My 6 year old Acoustic Zen Crescendo MK 2 speaker’s I have had the longest in house…
Oldest by manufacturer date is the Sansui TU 9900 tuner from 1976.
Denon DP-1100 turntable, 42 years old and running strong.
Kenwood KT-8300 Tuner (remember what that is?) 46 years
Carver TX1-11 Asymmetrical Charge FM Detector 37 years
VPI brick 42 years
BSR SLM 1 (analogue meter!) 44 years
Rogue Perseus Magnum tube preamp 17 years
Iconoclast Series II - TPC spkr. cables (finally, sublime sound) 1.5 yrs.
Magneplanar 2.7i speakers 2 months
My 1968 Bose 901’s with the square green Alnico magnets. Still going strong even when I do crazy stuff like this:
Nakamichi CA5 Pass/Curl collaboration, 1985 vintage
While not a permanent residence of the rack, I still pull it out from time to time, just to listen to, and prove to skeptics, just how good the phono stage, in particular sounds
1 year old PSA M700s.
My FR20s are a couple of months older but they are not in my rack.
It turns out the FR20s were just the start, not the end game I thought I was approaching. Of course this forum has a lot to do with resetting what I think is end-game too.
My oldest piece of gear is my turntable: 1984 SOTA Star Sapphire Vacuum with Sumiko MDC-800 “The Arm”. The SOTA has recent SOTA factory upgrades to current motor system, suspension, and vacuum pump system. Thanks to Darren for helping with the installation of the upgrades!
All the rest is PS stuff plus an Auralic Streaming transport.
My oldest combo pieces are in my secondary system and consist of an HH Scott 222c integrated amp and the accompanying HH Scott 350 multiplex FM tuner. These units were manufactured between 1961 and 1963, making them between 61 and 63 years old.
They are the gold-colored units in in the bottom two shelves in this video.
A Nakamichi MR-2 Cassette Deck. Still works and sounds amazingly good… Sold my Nak Dragon several years ago and now they cost a lot of money.
Acoustat Spectra 33 electrostatic speakers. 35 YO (1989)
The rack
That is my situation as well. The Rack.
You have some fine vintage speakers in another system.
