I am so not a fan of the appearance of those amps. To me they look like security jewelry boxes. The look completely stops any interest I might have in them. A personal problem for sure.

Looks like Steam Punk Deco Audio, but I like the unconventional twist. I’m more of a form follows function guy. I dig the austerity and clean lines of early Nagra, Studer/Revox, and Marantz.
Some of the newer kids like T&A and Aqua follow in this tradition. Stunningly simple.
