Who's going to Axpona? Any interest in a PS Audio Forum meet-up?

Their room was way too small for the speakers. In a bigger room they would shine.

I agree. I’m sure they sound great but I think he’s only getting a small percentage of what they are capable of delivering.

Isn’t one of their speakers named ā€œAnusā€?

Oh wait it’s ā€œAeneusā€. My bad.

I will be there…luckily I don’t ā€œneedā€ to buy anything

I thought we were talking about Fremer’s system but yes the Aries Cerat room was extremely small at axpona last year.

For me my first ever non-CES audio show was Axpona last year. It wasn’t about shopping for me. It was about stuffing everything conceivable in one convenient place. And any and everyone important was there. The largest toy store I ever experienced with only stuff I like. Whoo Hooo!

This year I may alter the way I use it.

The exhibitor list has grown, and is huge. 2023 Axpona looks to be the biggest one yet.

I am a bit concerned about crowds on Saturday. It could be a poopy.

Would have loved to be there but am traveling overseas. Have a good time. Seems like it would be fun with a lot of you going.

Anybody staying at the Embassy Suites?

I think Ron is staying there

Could plan on visiting the more ā€œopenā€ floors on Saturday, like 3, 4, 5. Plus the ā€œspeakersā€ seminar on the 1st floor that includes Chris Brunhaver and Richard Vandersteen

There is a lot of room there and it’s pretty spaced out. The elevators is where it can be a pain. Usually I’ll start at the highest floor and walk down the stairs floor to floor.

Sometimes the rooms are jammed and I move on. Friday is good and Sunday is also very good for seeing what you may of missed the first two days. Unless you move fast it’s almost impossible to see everything in 3 days!

I need to look at the vendors and make a loose plan.

I was hoping to see the VAC Signature Mk IIa SE, but they aren’t listed as vendors.

I am also interested in listening to the Dan Clark Stealth’s.

dCS will be a must for me.

Aavik, Accuphase, innuos, and Lumin. After that I will probably just wander.

VAC will be there.
Kevin Hayes (VAC) will be there, and will be speaking along side Paul McGowan at a seminar on Friday.
You may also want to see Alta Audio (Adam loudspeaker), Infigo (Class A monoblock amps), Gershman Acoustics (especially if they bring their ā€œPoshā€ speakers), Magnepan (have no idea what they will bring).
Estelon, mbl, PS Audio, Linkwitz, Al’s fav Kyomi Audio, Joseph Audio, Iconoclast (meet Galen in person), Gryphon, Superior Audio Systems (if they bring a new 4-speaker set from Eminent Technology), Western Electric could be interesting

Thing is, with this many forum members we could all get the same absurd shirts and when we arrive at a room we say ā€œit’s our turn, there are 40 of us, and Steveā€. It would get written up good or bad.

I’m not inciting anything. Just a thought. Could be funny.

We could all get Blue Bowler Hats.
(And never tell why)
