Who's going to Axpona? Any interest in a PS Audio Forum meet-up?

I know, right?

Be sure to have umbrellas as well as the bowlers. Mandatory.

Last year if I remember correctly Innuos was just a small room static display. Kind of disappointed. Gryphon is a larger room static display but the display is much more impressive than streaming box’s and phoenix reclockers. Lol

Could just go full on Clockwork Orange, that would clear out crowded listening rooms quickly I imagine

Vince (and others), get yourselves real N95 masks, a container of hand disinfectant, and be prepared for the crowds. Ron and akro can tell you I was all masked up at the Florida show, and I will be again at AXPONA. It won’t guarantee my safety, but it sure beats (in my mind at least) walking through crowds of wheezing old men and everyone packed like sardines in tiny little rooms. Anybody gives you a weird look, fark’em! Oh, being masked up doesn’t interfere one bit with the listening.

VAC will be with Von Schweikert, more than likely. They’re usually hand in hand when VSA does a big room at shows.

This time last year the Pulse range was not yet in production, but they were promoting it at shows.

Most servers and streamers are really boring on purpose. My Innuos has spent most of its life on the floor in my office, it is now with the hifi as I’m now using it by usb. My other server is in a cupboard. They do not have a display as that requires video processing, which is heat and electrical noise that they are trying to avoid. I think I’ve owned about 7 servers or streamers over the last 14 years and only two had a basic screen, certainly no video, one because it was also a DAC.

When I see a bowler hat I think of Renee Russo. Can you get her to show up?

I’ll ask her when she gets out of the shower.

For those who are curious, Pure Audio Project will be exhibiting at Axpona for the first time as well. A chance for me to finally meet-up with Ze’ev Schlick.

Water bottles are recommended as well.

There weren’t many masks last year. I didn’t use one. Hmmmmm.

Seriously, should anyone wish to purchase a hat or cap while in Chicago I recommend Sid’s. Amazon, well it is good for books, and that’s it. Mention the Facebook ad for 10% discount.

Best to have a Saturday strategy and low expectations to minimize frustration. My guess is there is still quite a bit of pent up Audio Convention fever.
