Will I have to sell everything?

May be moving from Chicago to Poland. Due to power considerations are there any reasonable options for me to be able to keep some of my goodies?

Here are the goodies that have been so rewarding to me:

P12 Regenerator
Directstream Dacs MK1 & MK2
BHK Preamp
BHK S250 Amp

Innuos Zen MK3 Streamer
Rega P324 Turntable
Hypsos Power Supply
Schiit Freya Plus Preamp
Oppo BDP105D

An exciting move to say the least. I had moved from Albuquerque NM to Italy in 2015. I didn’t have PS Audio equipment back then, but I found that my sources at that time were compatible with 220VAC and the 50 to 60 hz didn’t affect them. My guess is that power gen and amps will not be compatible. If you haven’t already, check the specs label on the rear of your components to see the VAC range. I’d bet the turntable, and OPPO might be dual voltage and maybe even the streamer. Let us know what you find.

Moving between the USA and Australia I sent my dacs back to PS audio and they did the switch over of voltages - just a thought …

Thanks Gareth. I was hoping for PSA to have such an option. Ive read that step up transformers exist but Hertz may be the real issue. Guessing the P12 will have to be replaced???

Given most of my equipment is less than a few years old I’d prefer not to start over. Any other input on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked it all for input voltages/voltage selector switches already? That’s the first step.

The Hypsos is marked for worldwide voltage on the back. Looks like the Freya Plus is not user selectable.

Australia runs on 50htz I’ve had no issues - I reached out to PS audio before heading into the USA and they confirmed they would do. Once I got to USA shipped back to PS audio and a week latter had it back into Dallas and vs verse on the way out of the USA 2 years latter

The equipment is set to run on 50/60 htz is says so on the back of the ps20 but not sure of the p12

Id give them a call - great equipment be sad to see you take a hit on the way out the US

I’m only talking the PS gear

I have a 105D and there’s a red voltage switch just above the IEC inlet. See the photo below.

Is also an internal dual voltage according to Innuos site . So that ones a tick as well

You guys rock! Apparently, the best approach would have been for me to look on the back of my equipment before posting rather than confusing myself with Google searching until no end. DAaaa. I’ll be reaching out to PSA but this forum has kept me busy reading for a few years now so I thought to ask the mates.

Thanks for easing some of my worries.

Love It. Thanks
